With each step, students are investing in their own educational experience. Funds raised from the Walk-a-thon make a tangible difference in our school community.

• TK/K grado: 8:30-9:50

• 1-2 grado: 10:00-11:30

• 3-5 grado: 12:35-2:00

KBE will be hosting a book exchange from 8:00 to 10:30 in the cafeteria. For this week, please bring books that you no longer need for our exchange and drop them off in the large grey plastic bins in the hallways.

We need volunteers on the day before to sort the books and also on Friday during the event. If you can spare an hour or so, please join us!

All classes have been working hard to learn holiday celebration songs - in English and in Spanish! During the school day, our students will visit other classrooms to spread holiday cheer!

Turn in your reading log before Friday, Jan 10th, to receive an invitation to a Hot Cocoa Party with Ms. Dewald and our RtI Team! Also, you will receive a Free Dress Friday! Thank you for supporting your child with reading!!!

A FREE event for the whole family! Doors open at 5pm and Movie begin at 5:30pm. Movie will be played in English with Spanish subtitles. Free Snacks! BOTTOMLESS POPCORN for all.

What about dinner? Pack a dinner, order takeout and carry in, or Food will be available for purchase.

Family Math Morning and Parent Social

Visit your child’s classroom and play fun math games and activities. Just come to school with your children and check in at the drop off gates. PACE will offer coffee and hot drinks when you arrive! Afterward, join the principals and other parents for coffee and pastries in the Parents Lounge.

Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading. This program focuses on motivating children to read books that students can see themselves reflected in, as well as books that allow readers to see a world or a character that might be different than them.

We aim to help students feel included, recognized, and a part of the world. We will have special guest readers visiting classrooms to inspire the next generation of readers!

Family Dinner & Reading Night is at Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe! Join us for an evening of free food and stories for the entire family!

Community members of all ages are welcome to join. We will have local celebrities reading some of our favorite stories in English and Spanish. Every child who attends will get a free book from PACE to bring home!

Do you have a child who will enter transitional kindergarten (TK) or kindergarten in fall? 

If so, plan to attend our wonderful TK/Kinder Preview Nights offered at Kings Beach Elementary School.

Día del Niño is a BIG deal in Mexico, other Latin countries, and here at Kings Beach Elementary! ELAC and PACE will celebrate our students with a day filled with music, dance, and games for the whole school.

PACE will host our Year End Celebration on Wednesday, June 5th from 5-7pm at Tahoe Backyard (8428 Trout Ave, Kings Beach). Bring your family and mingle with the KBE school community!

Thursday, June 6th is KBE’s Open House. Come see what our kids have been working on at school!

Grab some home-cooked food at the Kermes Dinner, co-hosted by ELAC and PACE, and enjoy student art. It's a night of fun for the whole family!

Field Day is an end of the year celebration where our students can enjoy outdoor activities, games, and snacks before the end of the school year. Parent volunteers are welcomed - come play with your kids and their friends!
