Walk-a-Thon Volunteers needed! | ¡Necesitamos voluntarios para la Caminata!
PACE is looking for volunteers to help on Walk-a-thon Day (10/23)! Please sign up if you can help with pre-decoration, day of event set up and clean up, lion mascot, class support, etc. You are welcome to sign up for multiple posts and time slots. Walk-a-thon Business Sponsorship
Support the KBE Walk-a-Thon!
Kings Beach Elementary’s annual Walk-a-Thon—PACE’s largest fundraiser of the year—is Friday, October 23, 2026. Local business sponsorships help provide science and enrichment programs, cultural events, classroom supplies, technology, field trips, and more for every KBE student.
Sponsorship opportunities begin at $250 and include recognition on Walk-a-Thon T-shirts and other promotional materials. To receive sponsor recognition, please submit your sponsorship form, donation, and logo by Monday, September 28.

KBE PACE endorses Measure P | KBE PACE respalda la Medida P
Measure P is a local school funding measure appearing on the November 3, 2026 ballot. The measure would renew TTUSD’s current $148 annual parcel tax and increase it by $40, for a total of $188 per parcel annually. It would remain in effect for nine years and generate approximately $7 million each year for teacher recruitment and retention, manageable class sizes, science and technology programs, AP and career and technical education. Revenue would stay local and could not be used for administrator salaries. Independent oversight, annual audits, public spending disclosures, and exemptions for eligible homeowners would continue.

La Medida P es una medida de financiamiento local para las escuelas que aparecerá en la boleta electoral del 3 de noviembre de 2026. La medida renovaría el impuesto parcelario anual vigente de $148 del TTUSD y lo aumentaría en $40, para un total de $188 por parcela al año. Permanecería vigente durante nueve años y generaría aproximadamente $7 millones anuales para la contratación y retención de maestros, clases con un número manejable de estudiantes, programas de ciencias y tecnología, cursos de Colocación Avanzada (AP), y educación profesional y técnica. Los fondos permanecerían en la comunidad local y no podrían utilizarse para los salarios de los administradores. Continuarían la supervisión independiente, las auditorías anuales, la divulgación pública de los gastos y las exenciones para los propietarios de vivienda que cumplan los requisitos.

What we do
Fundraising
PACE is completely funded by generous donations from our families, friends, community and local businesses. We are very thankful for the support that we receive! The money we raise goes directly to providing school supplies, special educational programs, and supporting our teachers and students.
Volunteering
One of the most important assets at KBE is our community. We have a thriving and involved group of volunteers helping us with many events and programs. Throughout the year, PACE organizes volunteer opportunities and sends out requests through email, flyers, and the Friday Green Bags.
Education
Funds raised through PACE directly improve the education of our students. Without PACE, students would lack school supplies, field trip opportunities, and special assemblies. We ensure our kids are getting the best education possible, and we organize fun activities that ensure families are involved in the Kings Beach Elementary community.
